Abstract
Closure of duodenum stump in cases of low complicated ulcers is one of the hard stages of stomach resection
according Bylroth's II method. For closing the duodenal stump the author has technically improved and
applied the approved methods of Judin, Masliak, Saposhkov and others in treatment of 70 patients having
complicated low ulcers of the duodenum. After the operation one patient has developed insufficiency of the
duodenal stump. The obtained data confirm that the well-grounded choice of optimal methods of duodenal

The Interest of Testicular Biopsy Indices
in the Analysis of Testicular Biopsies in
Infertile Men with Bilateral Varicocele

Centre Urology of Paris, France
Abstract
The aim of our study was the evaluation the indices of testicular biopsy obtained starting from the quantitative
analyses of bioptic samples, taken according to the odd-couple procedure. The selection of odd quadrants for
each testis permits to analyze the relative difference of spermatogenetic process perturbated by the
hemodynamic effect of the varicocele. The introduction of bilateral testicular biopsies during the microsurgical
correction of bilateral varicocele permits to obtain specific indices representative of the spermatogenetic status ...

Abstract
The antitoxic action of the preparation plaferon LB in the co inoculating cell lines of human and animal origin
has been studied. Phosphoorganic compounds - pesticides, phosphamide, decis, and paarlan were used as
toxic substances. In the indicated cells, pesticides caused (induced) cytotoxic, morphological and mutagenetic
changes which degree depended on the kind of the toxins and cells being used. Mice (C-1300) neuro
blastoma cells proved to be the most sensitive. A comparatively low sensibility was shown by pig embryo cells

Abstract
Background: The fibrinolytic therapy for acute myocardial infarction fails to achieve reperfusion in 40-70% of
patients. We did a trial to compare the 48 and 96 h heparin administration in patients undergoing fibrinolysis
by streptokinase for acute myocardial infarction. Methods: 99 patients with acute ST-elevation myocardial
infarction were randomly assigned an intravenous 48-h infusion of heparin (n=53) or 96 h (n=46)
administration together with a standard 1,5 million unit dose of streptokinase). The primary endpoint was 30- ...

ABSTRACT
The case histories of 430 children with combined cranio-cerebral traumas (CCT) were studied. Combinations
of CCT with facial lesions (cranio-facial traumas) were observed in 104 children (24,2%). The age of the
patients varied from 2 to 15 years, boys - 74 (71,2%) and girls - 30 (28,8%). The following peculiarities of the
clinical course of cranio-facial traumas were observed: 1. Expressed edema of soft tissue of the face and
head (in 1/3 of the patients), which made difficult checking and adequate assessment of the craniocerebral
nerves and detection of eye injuries. ...
